Joss Whedon Directing Batgirl For Warner Bros.

There has been some crazy developments and announcements from DC, and it isn’t stopping just yet. News broke earlier today on famed director and writer Joss Whedon being at the helm of Warner Bros. “Batgirl“ film.

The studio is close to finishing a deal with Whedon to direct, and also be in charge of the writing and producing as terms of the finished deal. 
So far the only revealed names to be involved with the project are Toby Emmerich, Jon Berg, and Geoff Johns; no names have been mentioned for the leading role of Batgirl.
