The following is brought to us by: Comic Book Resources.

“As HH editor-in-chief Umberto Gonzalez revealed during a Periscope session, an unnamed sourced has pegged the group of Flash villains as the film’s antagonists. The Rogues are a conglomeration of evil doers united by their hatred of the Flash and their desire to take him out — permanently.

The group first formed in 1962’s “Flash” #130, with the original lineup including Mirror Master, Trickster, Captain Cold, The Top and Captain Boomerang. The group’s even appeared recently in DC Comics’ current “Rebirth” initiative, counting Captain Cold, Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, Trickster, Heat Wave and Golden Glider among their roster. The team has also appeared in live-action before — sort of. The “Rogue Air” episode of the CW’s “Flash” featured Captain Cold, Weather Wizard, Rainbow Raider, The Mist, Deathbolt, Golden Glider and Peek-a-boo all teaming up to take on the hero, even if they didn’t really take on the “Rogues” moniker.

Directed by “Dope” helmer Rick Famuyiwa and starring Ezra Miller and Kiersey Clemons, “The Flash” races into theaters on March 16, 2018.”
